What is Pre-K and Why It Matters for Your Child
Pre-K (Pre-Kindergarten) is an early learning program that helps 3 or 4-year-olds build the skills they need to succeed in kindergarten and beyond. It’s more than just childcare, it’s the foundation for your child’s future.

Who Qualifies for Free Pre-K?
To enroll tuition-free, your child must:
- Be 3 or 4 years old on or before September 1, 2025
- And meet one of the following:
- Family receives SNAP, TANF, or Medicaid
- Limited English proficiency (not fluent in English)
- Educational disadvantaged
- Homeless (even temporarily)
- Child of a military parent (active, injured, or deceased)
- Currently or formerly in foster care
If your child doesn’t meet the criteria, don’t worry, paid options are also available.
How to Enroll
Enrolling is simple:
- Visit any of our locations or call us: 2819144999
- Bring:
- Your child’s birth certificate and social security card
- Immunization records
- Parent ID
- Proof of income or other qualifying documents
- Proof of residency
- That’s it — we’ll help you enroll and upload your documents online!
- If your child is already enrolled at Computer Kids, transitioning into Pre-K is even easier — we already have some of the information on file!
